So what is National Leon Day?
It’s exactly 6 months before Christmas (“Noel” spelled backwards), and it’s the perfect mid-year moment to start thinking about the holiday season—especially handmade gifts, decorations, and supporting local makers. It’s a great excuse to bring a little Christmas cheer into the warmth of summer!

What’s Happening at the Market:

Our weekly farmers market is in full swing with:

• Local farm & craft vendors
• The Vienna Car Cruise hosted by the North Bay Fire Department
• Live Music on the Arrow Bank Stage
• Delicious food from the NBFD Grill

Homestead Homeschool Feature: Horizon with Chenin & Skip

This week’s Homestead Homeschool experience is something special!

Horizon, featuring Chenin & Skip, brings a warm, welcoming musical style that blends rich harmonies with a wide variety of all your favorite songs—the kind everyone knows and loves to sing along to. Their sound is uplifting, engaging, and perfect for a community gathering like ours.

But here’s the best part…

Homeschoolers will learn music with Chenin & Skip and then take the stage themselves!
They’ll perform the first song of the set, giving them real, hands-on stage experience in front of a live audience. It’s fun, it’s educational, and it builds confidence in a way that only live performance can.

The Vienna Car Cruise, brought to us by the NBFD, is the perfect place to share your passion for automobiles—from classic cars and muscle machines to unique builds and local favorites. It’s a great way to connect, reminisce, and admire some incredible vehicles.
