Meet the Author: Eliza Scalia
“Hello world and all who inhabit it! My name is Eliza Scalia and I am the author of two series of books (the Death’s Assistant series that I self-published and The Adventures of Silver Dove series that I have with Winged Publications). I hope to write a great deal in the future, and I hope that you, my dear reader, can join me in that journey.”
Eliza Scalia is a talented local author and storyteller, best known for her chapter book series The Adventures of Silver Dove, now spanning 14 exciting books. Her passion for writing shines through in every story, inviting readers of all ages into imaginative worlds filled with adventure and discovery. Through her superhero stories, she gently explores mental health in a way children can understand and connect with. Her writing is rooted in compassion, with the hope of making the world feel a little bit nicer, one story at a time.
Beyond her writing, Eliza brings creativity to life through her handcrafted knitted, crocheted, and quilted pieces—each one made with care and artistic flair.
Eliza currently holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health along with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her dedication to helping others is reflected both in her professional life and in the meaningful stories she shares.
In her free time, Eliza enjoys reading, writing, needlework, martial arts, and swordsmanship—interests that often inspire the rich themes and characters in her work.
